Neuthox has been tested according to European standards (EN) for effectiveness.
The disinfectant achieves a 99.999% reduction of Legionella bacteria in water within 60 minutes at a concentration of 3 ppm.

Neuthox is classified as non-hazardous according to EU regulation, which means:
- No personal protective equipment is required
- It is not flammable

Eliminating Legionella and saving energy
A Danish sports and culture centre struggled with Legionella problems in its hot water system. After installing a DCW Mini unit, Legionella was quickly brought under control, while the centre also reduced its energy consumption by operating at lower water temperatures.
"It’s a win-win situation: the water is free of Legionella, and we save on energy costs," says centre manager Jan Nielsen.
How much water can DCW Mini treat?
DCW Mini is available in three sizes to match different water demands. The treatment capacity depends on the dosing level required, with typical dosing levels of 0.5 ppm for cold water systems and 1–5 ppm for hot water systems.
The calculation is based on 20 hours daily Neuthox production. Actual capacity depends on water quality, system design and dosing requirements.
